Public comment meeting on Rules & Regulations Governing Division of Land

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Sheridan County Commissioners Nick Siddle and Christi Haswell invited the public to a hearing on amendments being made to the rules governing the division of lands.

Copies of the proposed amendment are available from the Sheridan County Board of County Commissioners’ Office or County Public Works Department, 224 S. Main St., Sheridan. They may also be viewed on the County website, here.

Written public comments on the proposed amendment were accepted until Sept. 16. Haswell reported during the program that no public comments had been submitted as of Sept. 15.

A public hearing to receive oral comments on the proposed amendment will be held beginning at 9 a.m. Sept. 20, after which, the board will consider adoption of the proposed amendment at its regular meeting.
