The Sheridan County Commission has approved and accepted the contract for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Community Partnership Initiative (TANF CPI) grant funding for fiscal year 2022-23.
County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller talked about the funding and the recipients during the commission meeting this week.
Big Brothers, Big Sisters will receive $15,000 while Compass Center for Families will receive $50,000 in funding.
Obermueller said the entities have great programs that are income-qualified and are helping the portion of the community that is need based.
