U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) spent Thanksgiving with Wyoming Marines and Airmen serving in Okinawa, Japan. They’re attached to the 3rd (III) Marine Expeditionary Force and Air Force’s 18th Wing. Barrasso visited with service members at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa. Along with having dinner with the service members, Barrasso toured the air base and was briefed by military officials about operations in the Indo-Pacific.
Senator Barrasso met with Sheridan’s L.Cpl. Luke Singer on his Thanksgiving trip last week to visit Wyoming troops in Okinawa.
In a media release from his office, Senator Barrasso said Wyoming is proud of the men and women who serve our country, and that right now, we have service members from across Wyoming serving 16 time zones away in Okinawa, Japan, and they are face to face with China and North Korea every day. Barrasso said he made sure they knew that everyone at home is thinking of them during the holidays and awaiting their safe return home.
