During Tuesday’s meeting the Johnson County Commission voted to designate two existing easements into the fairgrounds complex as county roads.
In the discussions, County Road & Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer was asked to explain the Road Record Remediation project to new Commissioner Jeff Shelley.
Pehringer gave the background on the project.
Pehringer said they ave been working since then to clean up the road records, concentrating on those that are being looked at for reconstruction.
The current project is TW Road, which he said will be a bigger project to complete.
There is a lot of that type of paperwork that needs to be cleaned up, according to Pehringer.
