BIG HORN (NLI) SIGNING – The Quarterback who threw for a touchdown and then caught the state championship winning 2-point conversion for his team, is taking his skills to the college level.
Big Horn Senior Cooper Garber has signed his national letter of intent (nli) to play football at the University of Sioux Falls, in South Dakota.
The past season he led the Rams to a 2A state championship, and threw for more than 2-thousand yards along the way, which was tops in A and the 4th most yardage of all Wyoming 11-man teams.
With those kinds of numbers, Garber says he wasn’t ready to put away his pads just yet.
Cooper says he is considering a career in sports marketing and media. The University of Sioux Falls is a private Baptist university, the Cougars compete at the NCAA D2 in the Northern Sun conference.
TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers have two more home double headers this week, Friday night they host the Billings Royals the first game will start at 4:30, Saturday they will play two with Bozeman, Montana the first game is scheduled for 1:00.

SOCCER – The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams have Cheyenne Central and East on the schedule the Broncs will be the road team this week while the Lady Broncs play at home, game times Friday have the JV’s at 4:00 and the varsity at 6:00 Saturday’s games will go at 10:00 and noon.
TRACK AND FIELD – In track and field notes this week Sheridan high school will compete Thursday at an invitational hosted by Thunder Basin high school in Gillette.
ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies beat Cleveland 5-1 Tuesday night they play again today to close out the series first pitch is at 11:10, you can hear Rockies baseball this season live on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
