Sheridan Commission OK’s ‘Good Neighbor Agreement’ with USFS

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have approved an agreement with the US Forest Service/Bighorn National Forest known as the “Good Neighbor Agreement.

As explained by Johnson County Emergency Management Coordinator Marilyn Connolly concerning the same agreement with Johnson County, the agreement outlines the cooperation between the USFS and BLM, to allow their personnel to assist the counties in flood prevention and mitigation efforts should the need arise.

The Sheridan County Commission approved Chair Christi Haswell to sign the agreement.
