On May 12, the WYO Performing Arts & Education Center and Civic Theatre Guild will present the WYO/CTG Co-Production of Noises Off.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, local theater director Dan Cole said his fourth production, Noises Off, has been the most rewarding but also the most challenging he and his team have faced.

Written by Michael Frayn, Noises Off is a play within a play; a comedy that features a local cast slinging sardines, swinging axes and getting mixed up in three acts of mayhem.
Noises Off is a story revolving around cast members who are attempting to put on a play of their own titled, Nothing On. With the opening night performance just hours away, the cast stumbles through their final dress rehearsal, and things couldn’t be going any worse. With lines being forgotten, love triangles unraveling and sardines flying everywhere, the production becomes pandemonium, all before reaching intermission.
The comedy will be at the WYO Theater, May 12-14 and 19-21 and is rated R for limited strong language.
Noises Off is produced in partnership with the WYO Theater and the Civic Theater Guild.
