Great Spring Continues for TR Athletes / Troopers Play in Laramie This Weekend / Rockies fall Against the Giants

TR (NLI) SIGNING – A recent Tongue River high school grad who was recruited to the girls basketball team, has been recruited so she can play at the college level.

Marajah Pease has signed her national letter of intent to play basketball at Rocky Mountain college in Billings.

She says she’s been playing basketball for about 10 years thanks to her family getting her involved, however it wasn’t until she got to high school when she started to get serious about the sport.

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers will be on the road this week to open a tournament in Laramie they open on Friday.

The Troops are coming off a double header sweep of a very good Cody ball club and Head coach Austin Cowen says he loved the way the players battled to get those victories.

And he says as the hit the meat of the schedule this week the pitching staff rotation is really coming together.

Next home games for the Troops will be next week on Tuesday and Wednesday when they have back to back double headers with the Rapid City Expos and a week from Saturday they will open league play hosting two with Casper.
