Sheridan PD Compiling Strategic Plan for Future

Sheridan’s Police Department has embarked on a strategic pan program to help them plan by identifying personnel and resources that will be needed in the future.

Police Chief Travis Koltiska and Captain Tom Ringley were both guests on our talk show Public Pulse Wednesday and discussed the plan and why it was important to put together.

Koltiska spoke about the “road map.”

Ringley explained the SWOT analysis that was part of the strategic plan.

Not only is the strategic plan useful for future planning in the police department, but will also be used by the City of Sheridan for their long-term future planning in their comprehensive plan as well, according to Koltiska and Ringley.
