Buffalo’s City Council, during their regular meeting Tuesday evening, passed on second reading an amended Ordinance for their 2023-24 appropriation bill, or budget.
Mayor Shane Schrader said the budget had increased from the first reading and explained why.
The first reading of the Ordinance showed an annual appropriation of $18, 485,596 and with the addition of the $6,000 from Johnson County, the appropriation on second reading jumped to $18,491,596.
The council approved the second reading of the amended Ordinance.
