Sheridan Media Named 2023 WY Association Of Broadcasters Large Market Radio Station Of The Year

The cream rises to the top and Sheridan Media has done it for the 12th time in 17 years, and possibly more.

At the recent Wyoming Association Of Broadcasters Convention, Sheridan Media was named the 2023 WAB Large Market Radio Station Of The Year.

Large market radio includes stations in Sheridan, Gillette, Casper, Cheyenne, Laramie, Rock Springs, Green River, and Evanston.

Sheridan Media also won 7 other awards:

Best Public Service: Christmas Wish (1st Place…2nd year in a row)

Best Online Video: Steve Sission (1st Place…2nd year in a row that Sheridan Media has placed 1st in this category)

Best Local News Talk: Ron Richter (1st Place…2nd year in a row)

Best Photography: Steven Schreffler (1st Place…2nd year in a row)

Best Radio Show: Tommy and Bell – KYTI (2nd Place…and 6 of the last 7 years of either placing 1st or 2nd)

Best Station Promo: Tommy B – Fox Sports Promo (2nd Place)

Best Sports Coverage: Kevin Koile (2nd Place…3rd year in a row that Sheridan Media has placed 2nd in this category)
