Sheridan County’s Commissioners, during heir last meeting, ratified two separate letters to residents of Story, responding to their letters requesting a speed reduction on Fish Hatchery Road.
The letters, from Jill Morrison and Carol Lucas, cited safety concerns they had for those that live, walk, and cycle along the road and asked the commission to reduce the speed limit to make the road safer.
In their responding letter the commission explained that the road does not belong to nor is it under their jurisdiction.
They suggested those concerned direct their questions to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
