Buffalo Council OK’s Closure for Klondike Rush

The Buffalo City Council has approved street closures for the upcoming 45th Annual Klondike Rush 5K/10K race to be held August 5.

Tim Cahhal, Operations Director at the Johnson County Family YMCA, asked for the regular closure of Klondike Drive from W. Fetterman to the intersection of Parmalee, Klondike, and Upper Clear Creek Road from 6 a.m. until 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 5.

He gave some more details on the event.

Cahhal said after the race, they tear down, move on, everyone gets to the parade and, “it’s a good time.”
