An agreement for fire fuels mitigation with the State of Wyoming, Office of State Lands and Investments, Forestry Division and Sheridan County has been approved and accepted by the county commission.
The agreement was discussed further at the recent commission meeting by County Fire Warden Chris Thomas.
County Administrative director Cameron Duff explained that the grant is for just over $267,000 and will need to be used within five years.
