Two Change Orders on the Sheriff’s Office Remodel project have been approved by the Sheridan County Commission.
Change Order#008 includes rerouting of ducts, labor to remove a door opening for relocation, and an additional door that matches the original.
The cost of the change order is just under $5,800.
Change Order #010 consists of furring out a wall and construct a ceiling soffit, adding additional studs, labor, and adding additional cover plates.
According to languageofcarpentry.com, furring is the process of adding extra wood to a structure to give it additional depth.
The cost of the second change order is nearly $2,500.
The two change orders are expected to add two days to the schedule of the overall project.
The commission ratified the change orders during their recent meeting.
