While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan County Commissioners Lonnie Wright and Tom Ringley were asked what construction project they are most proud of completing in 2023.
In 2023, Sheridan County managed to begin or complete many large scale construction and renovation projects, including but not limited to renovation of the Sheriff’s Office, the Brooks Street Greenspace Project, renovation of the Historic Jailhouse and the construction of the new Coroner’s Office.
Wright said although he was not on the commission when discussions began, he is proud that the jailhouse finally received some much needed renovations to the exterior.

Ringley agreed, adding renovations are a constant responsibility by any commission as well as acknowledging the hard work of county workers maintaining the roads everyday.
