As of 5:12 pm Wednesday, the standoff on North Sheridan Avenue has ended. No further details were made available. Sheridan Police Sergeant Nevada Krinkee was shot and killed Tuesday morning while attempting to serve a trespass warning to an individual at a residence at 5th Street and Val Vista Street.
