Employees in the Sheridan County Assessor’s Office were recognized by the county commission by being awarded their state certificates earned by each of them.

Commission Chair Nick Siddle explained further.

County Assessor Paul Fall spoke to the commission, explaining the extensive training required for the individuals to get certified. Those getting certified need to pass 135 hours of classes to be fully certified and then have to complete 30 hours of ongoing education every other year to maintain their certification.

There were seven honored for permanent certification and two honored for temporary certification in the Assessor’s Office.
