First reading of an ordinance to annex five tracts of land into the City of Sheridan is an item that will be considered at Monday night’s regular City Council meeting. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer said staff received a positive recommendation from the City Planning Commission regarding approval of the ordinance.

If the ordinance is approved by the Council three times, the tracts of land that will be annexed are located at 447 Canfield Street, 1305 Leopard Street, a tract of land adjacent to property addressed as 1872 Fairway Lane, and 1738 and 1814 KROE Lane.
