Council Approves Water Service Request

A request to provide City water service to 247 Decker Road without the execution of a pre-annexation agreement was an item of consideration at Monday night’s business meeting of the Sheridan City Council. City Utilities Director Dan Roberts said the desired location for service connection is where the property is contiguous to the city limits near the intersection of Dovetail Lane and Decker Road.

The water service request passed by a vote of 4 to 2 with Councilors Andrew Patceg and Kristen Jennings voting against the request. Councilman Patceg.

Other business from the meeting included the Council approving third and final reading of an ordinance annexing five tracts of land into the City and Amendment “A” to the agreement between the City, Sheridan County and Wyoming Regional EMS.
