In a media release, John Heyneman announced his candidacy for the Sheridan County Commission.
The opportunity to serve Sheridan County is exciting. I am passionate and knowledgeable about land use and understand the importance of the County’s Comprehensive Plan.
My history with complex agriculture and finance organizations provides valuable experience balancing current obligations with financial constraints. At the same time, I recognize the need to look ahead and anticipate future needs for our growing community.
I have deep roots in Sheridan County; My wife and I chose to raise our three children here, and we remain committed to this community. I am running for the open 2-year spot, which means that the learning curve will be steep. I am ready. I look forward to listening to and communicating with my fellow citizens, learning the nuances of the Commission, and serving Sheridan County.
