The Sheridan County Commission, at their regular meeting Tuesday morning, considered a petition to the City of Sheridan to rezone the county fairgrounds from R-Residential to B-Business.

Fairgrounds Director Kimber Solberg explained why they were seeking a rezone on the county-owned property within the city limits.

The commission voted to approve submitting the petition for the rezone to the City of Sheridan.
