Employees in the City of Buffalo will be getting adjustments to their pay scales, after the city council approved a Resolution to adopt new ones during their last regular meeting.

Mayor Shane Schrader explains what the Resolution does and why the council adopted it.

The Resolution changes the pay scales for city employees except law enforcement, according to Schrader.

He added that the council chose to adopt the new pay scales so the city did not continue to lose employees to other agencies and municipalities because of compensation.
