Sheridan County’s Commissioners have approved the renewal of a permit to operate the Husske Quarry.
According to County Planner Mark Reid, Jeffrey Freimund and Elizabeth Windsor applied for the permit to continue operation of a 4-acre quarry on a property zoned A-Agricultural on a two-year term.
He gave more details.
Reid said the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the renewal of the permit with three conditions.
No comment was offered during the public hearing.
The commission voted in favor of the renewal of the permit with the three conditions that include a two-year term; hours of operation from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and no site signage except directional signs as required by the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality.
