The 2025 WYO Winter Rodeo will kick off with a chance to view the snow covered Bighorns in the peace of night.
During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan County Travel and Tourism Executive Director Shawn Parker said the winter has shown up this year to allow for all the events to take place.

Parker spoke on the Moonlight Ski at Sibley Lake, the kick-off event for the WYO Winter Rodeo.

Moonlight Ski will begin at 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at Sibley Lake, located just off U.S. Highway 14. The Moonlight Ski event is free and all fat bikers, Nordic skiers, and snowshoe enthusiasts are welcome.
