Sheridan Commission Appoints Viewer for Vacation in Downer Addition

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have voted to appoint County Engineer Ken Muller as viewer in another proposed vacation of property in the Downer Addition.

The vacation would be a portion of McKenny Avenue, Elm Avenue, 16^th Street, and the alley in Block 65 of the Downer Addition.

Muller was asked if he minded being appointed viewer in yet another proposed vacation within the county.

Muller will view and report on the proposal, determining if is required, consider public and private expense of maintaining the property, whether the vacation is practical, and the expense of vacating the property.

His report will be presented to the commission in a future meeting.
