The Sheridan County Library System has a wide array of services available to residents. Much more than just books, the library leadership recently conducted strategic planning; outlining priorities, refreshing their mission statement and working to fulfill the many curiosities of their customers. 

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan County Library System Executive Director Amy Long reported the planning sessions were productive. Although many residents know of the library system’s many services, leadership would like everyone to know, a library offers many formats of information and ways to gain it.

Long said the planning session allowed time for the board and leadership to explore the mission of the SC Library System and it came down to a word, curiosity.
