All-Schools 5thGrade Student Art Show at The Brinton Museum

Beginning on February 8, The Brinton Museum again presents the All-Schools 5thGrade Student Art Show in the Jacomien Mars Reception Gallery. The show will run through February 23rd.

This annual program comprises original art by students from the region including Sheridan County School Districts 1 and 2 as well as Holy Name Catholic School (Sheridan), Spring Creek School in Decker, Montana, and the Northern Cheyenne Tribal School in Busby, Montana.

Nearly two hundred classroom art projects including 2D as well as 3D artworks are displayed in a formal museum exhibition which is shared with the public.

The inaugural 5th Grade Student Art Show took place in 2016 in the new Forrest E. Mars, Jr. Building. This event has become a much-anticipated program with each year highlighting the creative talent of art students from the area.

General Admission to The Brinton Museum is offered Free. Winter Hours: Thursday through Monday, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

The Brinton Museum’s exhibitions are funded in part with support from the Wyoming Arts Council, Edwin T. Meredith Foundation, Homer A. & Mildred S. Scott Foundation, and Tucker Foundation.

The 5th Grade Student Art Show is additionally supported by local McDonald’s owner Larry Storo, Jr.
