An event of more than ordinary importance occurred last Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Johnson on North Custer street.
The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. All the members of their family attended. A sumptious dinner was served at 2 o’clock, and the day was spent in pleasant recollections of years gone by.
The Valentine social given by the Methodist young people was a great success. All the leaguers and their guests had a fine time.
Sheridan County Electric Company has electric flatirons. An ironing board, a damp cloth and a turn of the electric switch, and in five minutes those wrinkled trousers will look like new.
The Swedish Lutheran Church will observe Lenten Sunday today with a discourse appropriate to the day.
