News – Sheridan Media
City of Buffalo Police Department Chief Sean Bissett called into Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse and said he is very pleased not only with the Wyoming Department of Transportation’s work on Buffalo’s Main Street but also the residents who have slowed down and used caution while the work is being completed.
The BPD Chief said all of the shops remain open and gave some recommendations for parking as the construction hits the busiest section of Buffalo’s Main Street.

According to WYDOT, utility work from the north side of Fort Street to Holland Street has begun and motorists should expect traffic switches for the next few weeks until work is past Trail Street.
Motorists should take caution as a traffic signal located on Fort Street will flash red for the next few weeks.
WYDOT has asked that motorists watch for flagging operations with head-to-head traffic at the intersection during the day, and the flashing red light with head-to-head traffic at night.
Drivers will encounter unimproved surfaces throughout the work zones until paving begins, which is scheduled for early next month.
