Cooperative Agreement Reached Between WYDOT and the City of Sheridan

A cooperative agreement between the Wyoming Department of Transportation and the City of Sheridan for a federal project consisting of ADA upgrades and the installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Brundage Lane and Big Horn Avenue was approved by the Sheridan City Council this week. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer.

Mercer said the purpose of the cooperative agreement that was approved is to set forth terms and conditions by which WYDOT will install and the City will maintain the new traffic signal at the Brundage Lane/Big Horn Avenue intersection. The City and WYDOT will split the cost of the $1.26 million project. Mercer said that the installation of the traffic signal and ADA upgrades will most likely happen in 2027 or 2028.
