Sheridan County Engineer Ken Muller has been appointed as viewer in the vacation of a portion of Rapid Creek Road.
According to a letter to the county commission from legal representatives of Rapid Creek, LLC they explain that the road is entirely on their client’s property and dead-ends on the property. It therefore serves no public use or benefit, which is why they are petitioning for the vacation of the county road.
Commissioner Nick Siddle had one question for County Engineer Muller.
Commissioner Holly Jennings said she had been contacted about the proposed vacation.
The commission voted to approve Muller as the viewer in the vacation petition.
