The Johnson County Rural Healthcare District Board has approved their budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year.
The board discussed anticipated revenues and expenses, settling on a budget of just over $2.67 million.
Board Treasurer Mark Schueler explained how they came up with the numbers for the budget.
Total projected revenues for the district were $2,686,548 with projected expenses at $1,546,427 with projected expenses for the Kaycee Ambulance Service at $233,121 and the contract with Buffalo EMS at $907,000 for a total for expenses at $2,686,548.
