Johnson County’s Commissioners have scheduled the budget hearings for the county’s special districts.
The districts’ representatives will meet with the commission on Monday, July 1 to review and discuss their prepared budgets with the commissioners for the upcoming fiscal year.
The schedule will begin at 9 a.m. with the Powder River Conservation District, followed by the hospital board at 9:30.
Johnson County Fire District #1 is scheduled at 10, and the Solid waste District will follow at 10:30.
The Weed & Pest District will start at 11, followed by the Rural Healthcare District at 11:30.
After a break for lunch at noon, the Cemetery District will be at 1 p.m., with the Clear Creek Conservation District starting at 1:30.
Nothing is currently scheduled at 2 p.m. but the Senior Citizen Service District will be at 2:30.
The Powder River Fire District is scheduled at 3 p.m., and the commission has scheduled a review at 3:30.
The budget hearings are open to the public.
