Miss Sheridan 2025, Anastacia Graves, appeared on Public Pulse to raise awareness for her platform, “Breaking the Silence: Speaking Up Against Domestic Violence,” and to discuss the upcoming Miss Wyoming Pageant.

Graves is a Sheridan native. She became involved in the Miss Wyoming Pageant thanks to her best friend Katelyn Reckard, Miss Sheridan Teen 2023.

Graves made decisions on how she was going to dedicate her time and service to the community when she was named Miss Sheridan. Serving the community she grew up in quickly became her primary motivation. Graves said she wished to work with organizations that shared her strong values and brought awareness to issues she felt required more consideration.

Overcoming personal tragedy and dedicating oneself to educate and help others is a cornerstone of Graves’ initiative. She didn’t stop there; when her father was diagnosed with a life threatening heart condition, she decided to alert her community to the risk. And through a partnership, the Miss America Association was able to help get the message out.

Working with the community and using her platform as Miss Sheridan has been an opportunity that Graves said she is thankful for as she prepares for the Miss Wyoming Pageant. Miss Sheridan had a message to young ladies of the Cowboy State.
