For over 35 years, the Wyoming Community Foundation (WYCF) has connected donors with causes that matter, helping communities thrive. WYCF has distributed more than $120 million to charitable organizations across Wyoming, supporting projects and initiatives that make a lasting impact.

The Sheridan-Johnson Local Board at the WYCF has awarded $80,000 in grants to local causes. These funds, part of WYCF’s competitive grant cycle, will empower various critical projects, enabling nonprofits to continue addressing community needs in Sheridan and Johnson Counties and beyond.

Local advisory boards and fund holders provide significant support to various areas of the state. The Sheridan-Johnson Local Board funds organizations and projects that benefit nonprofits in Sheridan and Johnson Counties.

“Behind every grant is a group of people working hard to solve problems, create opportunity, and meet the needs of their neighbors,” WYCF Program Associate Cassandra Hunter said. “Especially in times of uncertainty, with federal shifts and growing need across the state, we’re proud to support the organizations that continue to show up for their communities, often filling gaps that no one else is addressing.”
