Buffalo City Works Director Kevin Silbernagel updated the city council on the plan for fixing the damage at the baseball field at Prosinski Park.
Silbernagel said a dugout and a fence were damaged during a car accident and that the city had received quotes on the cost of the repairs, which have been turned into the driver’s insurance company.
He also said repairs will likely happen after the baseball season is completed.
Mayor Shane Schrader, in a separate interview, explained that the damage was caused by a driver with a medical emergency.
Silbernagel said the baseball league would discuss options among themselves and then speak with the council about how best to move forward with repairs and when.
