JCSD1 Board Approves New Kaycee Principal

The Johnson County School Board has officially voted to place Elizabeth Fauber in the position of Kaycee K-12 School Principal, on the recommendation of Superintendent Charles Auzqui.

The employment recommendations were presented to the school board by Auzqui during a special meeting Wednesday evening.

Fauber was previously the fifth grade teacher at the school and that position will need to be filled before the 2025-26 school year.

The opening for the position was posted on July 1, and is expected to be filled at the board’s regular meeting July 14.

The other employment recommendations approved were Britta Crawford as a Psychologist Intern and the resignation of Kimberly Wienke as a high needs paraprofessional.
