Sheridan Police Department Chief Travis Koltiska and Captain Tom Ringley said the events of WYO Rodeo went very well this year.
Both Koltiska and Ringley have served the City of Sheridan for over two decades, and during that time, they’ve seen the events surrounding the WYO Rodeo evolve significantly.
Chief Koltiska praised the coordination among law enforcement and emergency services, noting how that teamwork shines during Rodeo Week.

According to SPD leadership, rodeo-week activities have become more family-oriented over the years. Many of the adult-focused events have shifted from simply promoting alcohol sales to creating safe, enjoyable experiences. Koltiska said event owners and operators have been proactive partners in ensuring public safety.
