The Johnson County School Board has voted to form a Communications Committee, made up of three board trustees, Superintendent Charles Auzqui, and Kalen Marketing Solutions.
Board President Travis Pearson and Auzqui discussed the possibility of forming the committee at a recent meeting.
The board took three volunteers, Tamatha Grabin, Katie Engling, and Pearson, to form the committee.
According to Kalen Marketing Solutions, the Purpose of the Plan is to provide clear communication expectations between Johnson County School District #1 and Kalen Marketing Solutions to support unified messaging, elevate community engagement, and ensure the success of the “Students Thrive in Johnson County Schools” campaign. The plan outlines communication roles, responsibilities, and expectations for key stakeholder groups.
