SCLT Seeks Volunteers for Stream Restoration

The Sheridan Community Land Trust invites community members to take part in a hands-on conservation event at the Big Goose Natural Area on Wednesday, August 13, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

In partnership with stream restoration experts from Steady Stream Hydrology, volunteers will help collect important data that will guide future restoration efforts for Big Goose Creek. No experience is needed—just a willingness to wade in or help from the bank.

This family-friendly event is a great opportunity to learn from professionals, give back to the land, and enjoy a summer evening along the creek. Organizers are hoping for 10–15 volunteers, with space for up to 25.
