State Fair Foundation Financially Supports Wyoming State Fair

August 12, 2025

News – Sheridan Media

The State Fair Foundation has been in existence for one short year, but in that time has provided nearly $200,000 in projects to support the Wyoming State Fair in Douglas.

Rindy West, Foundation Director, was a recent guest on our talk show Public Pulse, to talk about the organization and an upcoming event that will make a return to the state fair.

She tells us more about the foundation.

Some of the ways the foundation has helped the state fair through fundraising including purchasing a skid steer for the fair grounds; paying for live streaming of fair events; bringing in additional generators; the addition of an industrial ice machine; an online endowment auction; and a scholarship program.

West talks about a concert that the foundation has brought back to the state fair this year.

The concert will be this Friday, August 15 at the fair grounds in Douglas.

Doors will open at 6, Tris Munsick & The Innocents will perform at 7, and Micky and the Motorcars will perform at 8:30.
