Jo Co Commission Discusses MOU’s With BLM

The Johnson County Commission considered two Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM)concerning the Buffalo Resource Management Plan, and the West Antelope III Coal Lease.

Commission Chairman Bill Novotny made the request of the commission to approve him signing the MOU’s.

Novotny said both MOU’s had been reviewed by the Johnson County Attorney and the Wyoming County Commissioners Association’s (WCCA) natural resource attorney and had been approved by both.

The commission voted to allow the chairman to sign the documents.
