After nearly 3 weeks in the Bighorn Mountains, the search for a missing Minnesota man has been suspended.
Grant Gardner last made contact with his wife on July 29th, after reaching the top of Cloud Park and hasn’t been heard from since.
He was reported missing on August 1st and since that time, search and rescue crews have been looking in that area for him.
The Bighorn County Wyoming Sheriff’s Office says teams have exhausted all resources and personnel and with weather conditions and other factors updated in their search models, they have to face the reality that the most optimistic survival odds have run out.
After some rest, search and recovery efforts will get underway as time and evidence allows.
