Sheridan County’s Commissioners have ratified the annual Compensation Agreement between the county and the University of Wyoming for Wyoming Extension Services.
According to the agreement, the university provides an extension professional to “assist and encourage the development of 4-H Youth Development programming,” a position currently held by Emily Swinyer.
Also stipulated in the agreement is compensation provided by the university for the position of just under $44,000 with the county contributing just over $24,000 of that total, in quarterly payments of roughly $6,000 made in October, 2025 and in January, March, and June of 2026.
