JCHC Chief of Staff Reports Departure, Hiring of Providers

Johnson County Healthcare Center Chief-of-Staff Dr. Brian Darnell, in his report to the hospital board this week, said former chief-of-staff Dr. Lisa Mullen’s final day was Wednesday, and praised he contributions to the healthcare center, as well as talking about a new doctor that has been hired that will begin this fall.

Dr. Hagge will start at the JCHC in November.

Dr. Darnell said they are still looking for a provider for the walk-in clinic and are reviewing applications and bringing people in for interviews.

The position, once filled, will bring staffing up where it needs to be in the walk-in clinic.

Darnell said with the addition of Dr. Hagge, the hospitalist shifts, with the exception of a few gaps, should be filled for the next year.
