The Mane Event Gravel Grinder on Public Pulse Sept. 2

The Sundowner Lions Club of Sheridan will be holding their annual fundraiser, The Mane Event Gravel Grinder, on Sept 20. 

This event is a rider’s choice race of 25, 50 or 80 miles traversed mostly on gravel roads. The Mane Event Gravel Grinder is a fully-supported event, with aid stations every 12-15 miles as well as a sweeper vehicle. Aid stations will have water, electrolytes, first aid, and snacks to ensure riders are taken care of and can focus on riding and enjoying the landscape.

The Mane Event Gravel Grinder is a fundraiser to help the Sheridan Sundowner Lions continue their mission of conducting vision screenings, equipping hospitals and clinics, distributing medicine and raising awareness of eye disease.

Lions work toward their mission of providing vision for all. They have extended this commitment to sight conservation through countless local efforts and through the international SightFirst Program, which works to eradicate blindness.
