The walk-in clinic at the Johnson County Healthcare Center was busy during a recent period, according to Clinic Director Heidi Huntley.
In her written report, Huntley she gave numbers for July, the latest month she had data on.
Clinic visits totaled 1,432 compared to 1,368 in July of 2024.
There were 40 newly-established patients in the clinic during the month.
In the walk-in clinic, 385 patients were seen in July, compared to 352 in 2024.
During Buffalo’s three nights and Kaycee’s 2 afternoons 150 local athletes were seen for sports physicals, with many others seen outside of those events.
She said the final portion of construction has arrived, and they moved into their newly-remodeled hallway in the clinic as of August 18.
Finally, she said the clinic has tentatively scheduled drive-through flu shot clinics for mid-September through October.
The hope is to offer three drive-up clinics with both Infuenza and COVID shots, depending on availability of both from their supplier.
