Johnson County’s Commissioners have approved an extension of the agreement for a Transportation Alternatives Programs (TAP) Grant for the South Bypass Walking Path Project.
County Road & Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer and Supervisor’s Assistant Ashlea Bassett explained to the commission the need for the extension.
Pehringer said with the Buffalo Main Street project as a WYDOT priority, they needed to extend the South Bypass Trails project for another year.
According to an earlier Sheridan Media story, Pehringer explained the $1.25 million project is a cooperative effort between the county, City of Buffalo, the Johnson County School District, and the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
