Wyoming Democratic leaders continue tour through Cowboy State by visiting Banner

Democratic state Rep. Karlee Provenza of Laramie, the minority whip, and Minority Floor Leader Rep. Mike Yin of Jackson will hold a town hall meeting at Kearney Hall in Banner.

Yin said the lawmakers have already visited four Wyoming communities on their statewide tour, with the goal of learning the challenges facing each region and bringing those issues to the legislative floor.

According to Yin, the meetings have been productive in revealing the concerns of Wyoming residents. He said the workshop-style format has helped participants feel heard and share the issues most important to them.

The town hall with Provenza and Yin will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Kearney Hall in Banner. All residents are invited to attend, regardless of party affiliation. The event is part of a series of listening sessions planned across the state.
